Registering to take part in EDIM is free. In order to take part you must be aged 18 years or over on 1 May 2018.
By registering to take part in EDIM you understand the challenge involved in covering 5km or 10km each day. You further understand that fitnaturally cannot be held responsible for any injury or mishaps that may occur while taking part in the Every Day in May event or while acting on information from our website or social channels.
For the 5km challenge
If you’re planning to run or cycle or swim you need a good basic level of fitness. You can swap your activity each day – so maybe run for a couple of days and then walk or cycle or do something less strenuous so long as you cover a minimum of 5km.
For the 10km challenge
If you’re planning on running for the 10k challenge you need a very good level of running fitness and experience. You need to be confident that you can cover 43 miles a week at steady pace without a rest day for four weeks in a row – you are probably someone who has trained and raced long distance.
You are not bound to either the 5km or the 10km challenge. So long as you cover a minimum distance of 5km each day you may the vary the distances however you choose.
You can use the information on our website but we accept no liability for any accidents, injuries or mishaps – whether physical or dietary – while acting on that information.
